ETL migration

{openAudit} automates the analysis of legacy ETL platforms to prepare their modernization (reverse engineering), starting by identifying real usage. Dependencies, business rules, and transformations are then automatically reconstructed in SQL, before conversion to modern technologies.

Two destinations for the generated SQL

Market platforms. The generated SQL is compatible with modern databases (BigQuery, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric) or with dbt and equivalents.

An open SQL ETL. The converted processes can also be run in {oa-tbx}, an open SQL ETL orchestrated by Airflow, the leading open source scheduler. {oa-tbx} and dbt are complementary: {oa-tbx} handles extraction and loading (the E and the L of ETL), while the transformation (the T) stays lock-in free, with dbt models if desired, and is optimized by {oa-tbx}’s embedded columnar / in-memory SQL engine, serverless.
