About

Ellipsys was founded by Samuel Morin in 2013 in Luxembourg. Ellipsys primarily develops the {openAudit} solution, whose main goal is to bring visibility into the complexity of Information Systems. Indeed, these systems are increasingly difficult to keep under control: runaway data volumes, more numerous technologies, and processes that are more complex, more heterogeneous, and more intertwined — not necessarily aligned with how that information is actually used.

Ellipsys’s original ambition was to automate the analysis of these Information Systems, giving technical teams the ability to improve them, make them simpler, and easier to migrate. Today, our ambition goes further: we help our clients build a genuine virtuous cycle by streamlining data transformation processes and steering them toward informational — and by extension energy — sobriety, in order to reduce costs and the risk of sensitive data leaks.

Our expertise has grown considerably, particularly around technical data lineage and the usage and cost of information, to the point where we can now address most technical architectures, whether on-premise or in the Cloud: databases, ETL/ELT, and data visualization tools.

The team is made up mainly of IT engineers, all passionate about research and development… and about client impact!
